The Button Scores
After each screening members and visitors are asked to vote on the film. The voter puts a button in one of five pots. 5 for excellent down to 1 for “I wish I hadn’t come”.
Note that if you forget to vote at the performance, you can still vote on the website – On the film page you’ll find a “Rate this film” slider control. Slide to select the number of stars (1-5) you want to give it, and then click. These results will be added to the button scores.
The scores are added up (20 in pot 5 = 100 and so on) and divided by the number of votes cast. This gives each film a score out of 5
